Variety performers needed for two month run in Japan!
Hi all!,
This is Patrick McGuire and I'm currently working at a park in the south of Japan called Huis Ten Bosch. I've been here for nearly ten months and will be leaving at the end of Dec. The park staff has asked me to help them find 5 new variety performers to work the months of Jan and Feb 2005.
The gig breaks down like this. Six days on 1 day off. Four sets a day, each set lasting no more than twenty minutes. A typical day would likely include three 20 minute strolling sets and one 15 to 20 minute stage show.
Pay is $750.00 US per week (taxes paid) plus 4,000 yen (around $40) per day per diem. Accomodations are at a western style hotel in the nearby city of Sasebo. Check out www.sasebohotel.com for specifics.
I've very much enjoyed being here. The gig is pretty laid back leaving lots of free time to practice, etc.
