Hi All,
I would like to introduce you to Sideshow Central and myself, I'm one of the volunteer staff members at Sideshow Central. The site and all of the staff are volunteers. Our mission is Preserving the Past and Promoting the Future of the Sideshow and all things related to the circus, carnival.
If you have had the chance yet I would like to invite you to visit our site, http://www.knddesign.com/sc/home.html.
We have a lot of great folks that share their experiences and stories with us. I think what you have to share would be a great addition to our site.
I come across this quote the other day and really liked it.
"Unless history lives in our present it has no future!"
In doing my research I have come to many dead end trying to find information about the people that lived, loved and dedicated their lives to the business. I hope you will take sometime and share any stories you have or ones about your family?
If you have any question or would like to submit any stories please feel free to contact me at jrobinson@hubwest.com.
We are here to promote all things Sideshow, which include, performance, circus, carnival, etc. so please submit your show dates, bio's, stories, and pictures.
I look forward to hearing from you.
I try to keep folks up dated to what's new on Sideshow Central weekly.
I know you will enjoy your time so visit often and here's what's new on our Midway,
We are always interest in what attracts you to our Midway, We would like to know if you are interested in some new attraction. So we have setup a poll on our home page to get your feedback.
So please Step Right this Way and let us know what you want to see on the Inside?

"Prodigies: Portrait Drawings of Unusual Characters, People have
always been intrigued by the unusual and uncanny, and I count myself squarely among their number. In fact, one might say I am more keenly interested in the unusual than most people or, at the very least, that I'm a bit more candid about it than most others would admit to being themselves." The Dancing Turkey's
"That's the way a carnival man is; he don't give them anything, yet he gives them 'something'... entertainment, experience, or
amusement for the chicken feed he takes away from them at his rack, or wheel or ring-board. And if he has a run of 'mud-luck' he always finds a way to get out somehow, raise a stake and climb back into the game.
"That's the way it was when I invented the 'dancing turkeys' when I got into the carnival racket after quitting Doc Porter's Medicine Show. William Naylor
