Greetings from Spark!!!
Hello the fantastic people of P.Net!
I would like to introduce myself and send greetings out to everyone. My show name is Spark (Stephanie Norn) and I am so happy to be following my dreams and finding a community of others doing the same. I'm new to p.net but I'm very excited to be here, as some of the members I've already met, or others I've heard about. What an incredible resource full of incredible people!!!
Yep, you guessed it, by my stage name I'm a fire artist. I'm relatively new to fire (as the longstanding members have several years experience) but it's been my passion for the past 2 years. From starting with the standards of poi and staff, I've moved into fire eating, fire to body play and fire fans. Along with fire I also perform improv (not well, mind you), stilt walking, musical theatre and my passion of all passions, opera. I've had the opportunity to perform for private and corporate clients, as well as just having finished my first fringe festival experience this summer with my (still developping) circle show. I've started street performing to strengthen myself overall as a performer, but I've also fallen in love with the art form. As a newbie, my first year was hard but well worth it. I've met lots of friends and amazingly tallented people along the way, and gained new confidance. As I'm still (very much) developping as a performer I'm very happy to have this resource available to help me along the way.
So greeting to everyone, especially to all other fire performers. I'm looking forwards to meeting everyone on pitch one day!
