PERFORMER PROFILE
Born in Manchester, England in 1975,
I Trained as Gymnast and Martial Artist from age 7, competeing successfully in both until I was 18 when I postponed my college course to join a circus theatre company. The company disbanded six months later and I found myself without an income ,I couldn't go back home with such a failed story so I thought I would support myself from Busking somehow , most of the street acts around were very inspiring mainly because they were not exponents of skill, they were using skills to sell comedy and charisma, but I wanted to use comedy and charisma to sell skill, namely Acrobatics,Dance and Martial-arts although I was and still am a proficient juggler I thought there were too many already so I developed a show of Acrobatics, Mime and both physical and verbal comedy, that was seven years ago I have since incorporated skate-boarding, rollerblading, Break-dance,Kung-fu, Capoiera, and escapology into the show ,
I have performed in England, Scotland, Wales, France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Australia and Japan,I have never had any publicity and have never been on an agents books but I have won a few prizes here and there and appeared on Television and Film several times
I am currently studying Sports Injuries and Therapies at Kendal College in England.
When I am not reading, writing or working out , I am usually picking up escapology techniques off my eight month old son.
I have nothing against jugglers ,unicyclists or even baloon twisters, I am generally in support of all pavement artist who live soley or mainly on donations even if they steal jokes off me ,but I mostly can't stand non busking street performers because they look down on Buskers for not having gigs.
I have said too much to remain enigmatic now so I shall go and do an essay on the nervous system,
