Recording music on computer
My daughter plays electric guitar and wishes to record some tracks so she can layer parts. I have a G3 Mac that could be dedicated to music production. I've done work with MIDI sequencing, but it was years ago, on a Mac SE, so I have a pretty good understanding of that end. What would the entry level Mac software of choice be so that she can patch the output from the amp into the 'puter and record tracks? Do "modern" application do both analog and MIDI, or do you need separate apps? Thanks in advance.
