Summer Clown Retreats
The clown lives in the moment. The world is a surprise. Nothing is taken for granted and everything is possible. The clown explores the poetry of the ridiculous. The clown expresses your comic uniqueness. A great opportunity to develop your performance skills, or simply build self confidence while having a serious dose of laughter.

Also Clowning_ Masterclass – 15-19 January for those with clowning/comedy experience
The courses are all held at the beautiful Aio Wira_ Retreat Centre set in the Waitakere Ranges, near Bethells Beach, West Auckland.

Lisa Brickell, the facilitator, trained at the Lecoq Theatre School in Paris and has taught and performed extensively in France, Italy, the UK, Japan and NZ. She currently teaches at Unitec, TAPAC and Auckland University, and with her own company Funny Business.
_Zack McCracken, co-facilitator on the Clowning Masterclass, also trained at the Lecoq Theatre School in Paris and has recently returned to NZ_ after 15 years performing and teaching in Europe and the UK.
