Fools are Everywhere is a neat new book about Jesters and Fools. Written by Beatrice Otto.
Instead of being a long boring thesis on the socio/political role of idiots, it is in fact a collection of stories and anecdotes about real jesters and what they got up to.
It includes a lot of unusual material from asia and the ancient chinese worlds.
I find it a good read and am enjoying it so far.
