Bought an RX650 and it has all kinds of goodies for working with Video and Audio. I'm sorry I didn't get a model equipped with a DVD burner, but especially if you own a Sony Digital Minicam, the whole thing is a piece of cake. Check out their website or type sony vaio digital studio in a search box, and it will give you some idea of what you can do, especially using a Memory Stick.
